Experience Modification Rate
An EMR (Experience Modification Rate) is a metric used by insurance companies to assess a company's past cost of workplace injuries and predict future risk. The industry average EMR is set at 1.0. Companies with an EMR below 1.0 have fewer workplace incidents compared to the average, resulting in lower insurance premiums. Conversely, an EMR above 1.0 indicates a higher incidence rate and higher premiums.
Wieser Brothers' current EMR rating is 0.65, significantly outperforming the industry average of 1.0. This 35% improvement over the average highlights our strong commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for all our employees. Our exceptional safety record not only underscores our dedication to our workforce's well-being but also contributes to more competitive insurance premiums.
