The Gundersen Logistics Facility job was a phased remodel project that consisted of renovations to an existing two story office space, façade improvements, loading dock addition, warehouse improvements, carport addition, interior addition of 2nd floor mezzanine and 1st floor pharmacy interior build out, and site work. The remodel of the two story office addition included complete renovations to the restroom facilities, data and electrical infrastructure improvements, and modifications to offices to suit the owner’s needs.
The project included façade improvements of removing industrial overhead doors and infilling with a metal wall panel assembly with precast knee wall. The precast and structural steel loading dock addition includes nine dock stations with dock shelters and levelers. The existing warehouse renovations include the addition of a structural steel mezzanine with pharmacy build out below. The remaining warehouse space concrete floors were polished, perimeter walls received metal liner steel panels, and the ceilings were painted. The site work included concrete paving for loading dock, asphalt pavement perimeter road, bioretention pond for storm water management, and landscape improvements. Wieser Brothers utilized multiple bid packages to keep construction schedule while design and permitting were able to be issued in order to meet project deadlines.
