Galesville Maintenance Building

This 11,000 square foot public works facility was built for the City of Galesville and features a 16’-0” x 80’-0” precast plank mezzanine.  Exterior walls were constructed out of exposed aggregate precast panels with the roof structure being a steel joist and deck system finished with a single slope standing seam metal roof.  Interior walls were built of concrete block to create the Office, Breakroom, Restroom, Shower, Mechanical, Storage & Equipment rooms.

In addition to the individual rooms that were built-out, the building also includes a large open area which consists of a vehicle maintenance bay equipped with vehicle hoist lift, wash bay with commercial pressure washer & a vehicle storage bay.  An in-floor heating system was installed throughout the footprint of the building with trench drains to capture all the snow melt.

Site amenities included a salt storage building, sand/gravel storage building & a large storm retention basin.
